What is Cupping ?
Dry myofascial cupping is a version of the ancient Eastern style Cupping. A hand operated vacuum pump is used to induce a vacuum inside a cylinder sealed to the skin. The vacuum “draws” the soft tissue perpendicular to the skin thus providing a force to the muscle alleviating any tension and nodules.
The cups are kept in place for approx 3 mins. Cupping can help to enhance circulation by encouraging blood flow, provide pain relief, alleviate inflammation and extract toxins from the body. Cupping may ease symptoms such as:
Arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis.
Back pain, neck pain, knee pain and shoulder pain.
Carpal tunnel syndrome.
Frozen Shoulder
Headaches and migraines.
What should I expect after Myofacial cupping?
Please note that the suction force from cupping breaks open tiny blood vessels under the skin. You will have round bruise-like marks that fade in a week or two.

A travel surcharge may be applicable for a mobile home visit treatments. You will need a suitable amount of room set up in advance (will need to fit a mobile therapy couch). We will need access to water and power points.
Please note that Free parking for home visits is required at or close to property. If there is parking that requires payment this charge will be added to your bill.
